Xu Qianyi, Yangtze River Piano Artist; Teacher of Piano Education Department of China Conservatory of Music; Young pianist; He studied in the Contrel Conservatory of Music Middle School and Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

Important Awards

• In 2019, won the championship of the 20 th Italian "Maria Giubilei" International Piano Competition;

• In 2019, won the championship and Best Audience award at the 3rd Viseu International Piano Competition (the only player since the competition to win a double award);

• In 2019, won the championship of the Stradella International Music Competition in Italy;

• In 2019, won second place at the 4th Coimbrafi Galadafos International Piano Awards in Portugal;

Partial performance activities

• In April 2023, he was invited to collaborate with the Qingdao Symphony Orchestra and successfully performed Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No.2 in c minor in the Qingdao People's Hall (conducted by Liu Ju);

• In September 2020, he was invited to Hohhot, Inner Mongolia to collaborate with Professor Chen Lin, the Director of the Conducting Department of the Central Conservatory of Music, and successfully performed Beethoven's Fifth Piano Concerto "Emperor" with the Inner Mongolia Ethnic Art Theatre Symphony Orchestra in the Music Hall of the Inner Mongolia Ethnic Art Theatre;

• In February 2019, he collaborated with the Filarmonia das beiras Orchestra to perform Beethoven's Third Piano Concerto in Aveiro, Portugal (conducted by antónio vassalo lourenço);

• In October 2018, he was invited to participate in the 60th anniversary celebration of Shandong Academy of Arts. He successfully held a special piano performance at the Art Theater of Shandong Academy of Arts and collaborated with the Shandong Song and Dance Theater Symphony Orchestra to perform Liszt's "First Piano Concerto" and Liszt's "Second Piano Concerto" (conducted by Xu Bo);

• In November 2017, he collaborated with the Tianjin Song and Dance Theatre Symphony Orchestra to perform Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor in the Tianjin Concert Hall (conducted by Dong Junjie);

• In 2014, he collaborated with the Sichuan Philharmonic Orchestra to perform Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 in E-minor at the Yichang Grand Theater in Hubei Province,

• In November 2013, he was invited to Paris, France to participate in the concert marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, and successfully performed Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 with Ostinato Symphony Orchestra at Gaveau Concert Hall in Paris (conducted by Li Jian);

• In July 2013, he successfully collaborated with the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra to perform the Schumann Piano Concerto at the Perugia International Music Festival in Italy. (Conducted by Wei Danwen).

In recent years, he has appeared on various stages around the world as a soloist, and his performances have spread to many countries and important cities around the world, including New York, London, Paris, Geneva, Poland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Belarus, Portugal, South Korea, Hong Kong, and other places.

He has won widespread attention from domestic and foreign audiences with his solid skills, good musical sense, and appropriate stage performance.

Since joining the China Conservatory of Music as a teacher in 2020, students have won numerous awards in major international and domestic competitions, such as the 12th Italy International Youth Musician Competition "Citt à di Massa", the UK 2023 Global Genius Music Competition, Portugal's Santa Cecilia International Piano Competition, KAWAI Asia Piano Competition, and the 2022 Shanghai Piano Open, among others. His teaching achievements are remarkable and have received widespread praise.
